A couple of beaches have been posted in Innisfil.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has issued a swimming advisory for Beaches 2-5 at Innisfil Beach Park and Leonard's Beach.
The beaches will stay open.

OPERATION CORRIDOR TARGETS BIG TRUCKS

A recent enforcement blitz, focusing on transport truck drivers across the province, has led to some surprising results.
OPP Sgt Kerry Schmidt says officers along with MTO officials checked nearly 1700 trucks over a 24 hours span, and laid a total of 697 charges.

The Firefighters Association presented the Foundation with a cheque for $20,000.

K-9 PASSES AWAY

South Simcoe Police are mourning the loss of one of their own today.
Garan, a retired K-9, passed away Tuesday (jun19) after serving the communities of Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury for seven years.
His last shift on Patrol was in July 2013.
