Naloxone kits are now available to the public.

Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose.

Mia Brown is a Public Health Nurse with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.

Brown says all it takes is a call or visit to a pharmacy or health unit.

One difference is the pharmacy will require a valid health card.

Then you will be given a kit that contains both the nasal spray and an injectable form of the naloxone.
