Environment Canada's Rainfall Warning are still in effect

The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Area has upped it flood potential scale to high.

The NVCA says the mix of precipitation we received over the last few days and will continue for the next couple will add up to 75-80mm.

They says municipalities, emergency services and landowners in flood-prone areas should be on alert.

They add, as always, hazardous conditions may exist around bodies of water and there is a high risk of life-threatening injury if a person falls into the extremely cold water.

The public and especially children are advised to stay away.
