January is Crime Stoppers Month.

Crime Stoppers is known for offering cash for anonymous tips in that might help solve police investigations.

Leslie Woodley is the the Police Coordinator for Crime Stoppers in Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka

She says that a lot of people see crimes happen but are afraid to speak and Crime Stoppers gives them a voice.

But if you are interested in the money, there is $1000 waiting for you, if your tip helps solve a crime.

There will be flag raisings to celebrate Crime Stoppers at the Innisfil Town Office on Friday (jan12) at 11am and in Bradford West Gwillimbury at the town office at 1pm.
